Rancho Palos Verdes (Est. 1973) is on the Peninsula"s southwest side, was incorporated in 1973 and is the newest and largest municipality. It has approximately 41,000 residents who live in about 13.6 square miles. This city features 7.5 square miles of steep clift coastline looks down at beautiful beaches and private coves.
